Being safe online
Last weeks PCSO's Doar and Hawksworth have been to both Draycott Primary School and Longmoor Primary School (where we were joined by an officer from our Online Safety team) to educate the children about being safe online and cyber crime.
The students have learnt the different laws around using social media and how to protect themselves, their friends and their families online, below are a few examples of what has been discussed;
- You must be at least 13 years old to use most social media apps (snapchat, Instagram etc)
- Passwords should be three random words, NOT your name, birthday or pets name
- Everything you do online leaves a digital footprint |
